“Scânteie de culori” in Vidin

On 24 January 2023 — Romania’s National Culture Day, and 173 years since the birth of the poet Mihai Eminescu — the Romanian Cultural Centre in Vidin, Bulgaria, opened “Scânteie de culori” (A spark of colour), Nicoleta Iagăru’s painting exhibition, in the hall of the Tsvyat 1870 community centre; in Bulgarian, “Звезди от цветове”. It was organised with the Fiți Buni Association of Caracal, for the Days of Romanian Culture.

The next day she thanked those who came: “Thank you with all my heart for your involvement, your presence and your support at the opening of the painting exhibition ‘Scânteie de culori’.” Journalists from Vidin’s public radio and television were at the opening too.

In January 2025 her work was shown in Vidin again, at the same centre.
